Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato. Demi Lovato was born on August 20, 1992, in Dallas, Texas. Demi Lovato is a singer-songwriter, a guitarist, and an actress. Demi Lovato starred in many shows and movies, she also has two C.D.s out. You all know her today as a Disney star, but Demi began her career as a star on Barney and Friends. After starring on Barney and Friends, Demi guest starred in a few T.V. such as First Down, and Just Jordan. Then in 2007 her Disney career took off. She got a part in As the Bell Rings, a Disney Channel short series, in January of 2007. The show aired in August that year. Demi left that show and is now starring in Sonny With a Chance, a Disney Channel original series. Demi was in two Disney movies; Princess Protection Program, which she co-starred in with her best friend Selena Gomez. The two also have a song and music video out called "One and the Same." Demi also starred in Camp Rock, another Disney Channel original movie. Her co-stars in that film were the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. After that movie came out in the summer of 2008, Demi went on tour with the Jonas Brothers. Aside from her acting career, she is musically talented also. She has two C.D.s out. Her debut album is called "Don't Forget", and it came out on September 23, 2008. Her second album "Here We Go Again" just recently dropped on July 21, 2009. Demi Lovato is a young, inspiring person, and I am a big fan of Demi's, I hope she continues doing well in her career.
